I'm sorry everyone, but this week's challenge will be late due to a sick baby. Chewie started coughing on Monday and it got progressively yucky, then little Artoo picked up where he left off and unfortunately he just doesn't do colds as well as the older one.
We are doing what we can to keep him at home, but will take him to the ER if we need to.
Thanks.
Laura

UPDATE:
hey everyone, i thought i'd give you a quick update on the situation. As it stands, we are still home. We did not go to the ER yesterday, but its still kinda touch and go. Artoo has a wicked cough that doesn't sound like it feels all that great. All his secretions are clear or milky white... no yellow or green, so no infection. He has had a bit of a fever, but we're keeping him cool and giving him drugs to bring the fevers down.
thanks for everyone's understanding... what a way to end off the year...sigh.
Sorry to hear about the babies...Don't concern yourself about the challenge! What with the holidays on us I am sure everyone will find enough to do!! I for one have been busy making Zentangle Christmas cards...Take care of your family!

ReplyDeleteFamily, especially children, are most important. Take the time you need. We can challenge ourselves this week by not having a challenge!

Prayers and blessings heading your way! Hope everyone recuperates quickly.
ReplyDeleteHang in there. A sick baby is always tough and you have had way more than your share. If good thoughts and blessings helped then you should be all back to normal in no time. If that doesn't work, well then at least know that you have tons of people hoping for the best.
