What a week.
Remember last week when i said it looked like Artoo was getting sick again? Well. we ended up taking him to the hospital, again.
my sweet sleeping prince |
Home from the Hospital, my little man makes sure i'm close by at all times. |
Artoo recovered slowly. just because he's home from the hospital doesn't mean that he's better. he still needs constant surveillance. But not sleeping for over 24 hours really took his toll on me, and i got Artoo's cold and it hit me hard. I spent most of the week, when not watching the kids, sleeping, and coughing and blowing my nose.
The kids got to watch a lot of TV. True Story.
By Sunday i was feeling much better, though i'm still not 100%
I managed to get out and do the last bit of sanding on my DIY Dresser project. Here's the dresser with all the stain removed and the wood sanded. ready for staining!!
such pretty wood |
B-rad and i also managed to do some yard work on Sunday too. SO strike that off the to-do list.
It looks as though Spring JUUUUST might be here to stay. Fingers Crossed!!
Weekly Challenge #264: "String Theory: String into Spring"
I have to give this week's challenge idea credit to B-rad.
He said: "I just thought of all the work you did outside today, and that it might be a good idea for a string, if you made it one big SPRING"
Great idea, don't you think?
So this week's challenge is to create a Spring-like string on your tile.
here's my string

And here's my finished tile!

that's it for me. I'm off to bed with my box of tissue and my lemon tea, so i can kick this bug. KICK IT.
Have a great week
Love Laura
