As i'm typing this it's very late sunday night - my family and i arrived home late last night (sunday) because we were at a family Reunion this weekend to celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday.
A short hike for all the 'little' families - they went on a bigger hike afterwards |
My mother is the oldest of 7 children and amazingly enough all of her siblings came! We rented out a massive house just outside of Waterton National Park in Alberta and the weekend was jam packed with hiking and giant Jenga and karaoke and highly intense games of charades.

We had a formal dinner/talent show/birthday party for Grandma and she was so happy to see so many of her friends and family there. I love her.
isn't she lovely? |
ON to this week's challenge!!
Weekly Challenge #279: "Duotangle Meer vs Auraknot"
A Duotangle is a term originating here on the blog for a tile using only the two tangles - in this case; Meer and Auraknot (Step outs in the links) and their variations.

these tangles are in my go-to toolbox - so t his was a fun tile for me, albeit a quick one. ;)
Have fun using these two tangles!
Tangle ON peoples!
Glad you and your family had such a nice time. I really like your duotangle. This will definitely be a challenge to try to get these two tangles to play nice :)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful reason to celebrate! We should all look so good at 80. You are blessed.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't imagine how Auraknot and Meer could work together but alas, like all tangles, they do.
Great to have a family like yours!!!!! Aurakmot and Meer ...... a real challenge. You did very well though.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week Laura and thanks for another great challenge. 👍🤗
DeleteHow nice to have a family reunion. A couple of my cousins and I getting together is the closest we get. I look forward to these challenges on Monday.
