Weekly Challenge #335

Happy Monday morning

Thankfully it's been a pretty chill week here at Casa Diva!  The weather has been pretty gorgeous, so i go to spend some quality time with my pal Tara and my pooch Luna.  We took a beautiful walk along the river - about 6km.  (3.73 miles) - and Luna as so well behaved.

As a reward for her wonderful behaviour - we had a break at Starbucks and Luna enjoyed her very first puppaccino.

om nom nom nom
I have been working on some art projects during the day - catching up on some work... and walking back and forth to school with these adorable boys of mine.

my heart...

I also want to say a big hello to everyone who joined me on Twitch yesterday morning.  I was able to stream this week's challenge while the boys were at bowling in the AM.

If you want to be notified when i'm streaming - please follow my twitch profile.  It's free.  I'm still trying to find out what time works best for me and my family - and to answer the question i get asked all the time: The videos are not available online after the stream, mostly because i'm not sure how to do that yet.

Also those of you who don't know - October is also known as Inktober where there's a challenge to do a piece of art using ink each day of October (you can search the hashtag #inktober on social media) and i just wanted to share with you a list of prompts created by a fellow Certified Zentangle Teacher Stephanie Jennifer!

I think i'm going to try to participate in the Inktober challenges - using a dip pen, fountain pen ink, and a bijou tile.  Here's is Day 1 - Bunzo.

Weekly Challenge #335: "UMT - Tint by Henrike Bratz, CZT"

The first Monday of each month is a Use My Tangle challenge where the tangle we use is brought to us by ONE of YOU!! You don't have to be a CZT to submit, but they do have to follow the guidelines etc found here...

This month's tangle is called Tint by CZT Henrike Bratz!  The step outs are here.  It's a fun little tangle, and in my tile i used it as a 'chain' across the tile and also in the corner!

Have fun playing with this tangle!

Have a great week!
And if you're on the Zentangle Mosaic App or Instagram - i'm @iamthediva - come on by and follow me, and i'm going to be using hashtags on the app for each of my weekly challenges. So if you're game - use the hashtag #DC335(Diva Challenge #335) for your tile this week! You can also search in the app for people's contributions to the challenge by clicking on the hashtag from inside the app, or using the search function.

If you have a blog or host your images on line (like on Flickr or Picassa or Pinterest), add the site-specific URL where your tile is posted to the linkey machine below! Don't forget to link back here so that others can join in the fun! (if you don't know how to find this, you can see my half assed tutorial here) Also, please feel free to come back often and visit the links of those people on the linkey machine - don't forget to leave a comment or feedback, everyone loves feedback. ;)
If you love the challenge as much as i do, please consider leaving a tip (tip jar in the side bar).  I write this blog for free and have no plans to make it a paid for service in the future.  Buy me a cup of coffee, or a new Micron pen!! Click the tip jar on the side for a monthly tip, but if you just wanna throw a few bucks my way THIS LINK will give you a one time option.    A very big thank you to those who have kept me in hot cups of joe. ;)

  1. Tint looks like a great tangle to add a gemstone in it. I think I'm going to add Flux to it, too.

I saw your post on Instagram. The bottle of ink looks lovely... I could picture it on a table as a decoration, even. It's great to see how everyone drew Bunzo so differently. Yours looks almost snake-like. :)

  2. Thanks for the fun tangle challenge.

  3. This tangle is new to me and I like going to try it. Your tile is lovely!!!

  4. Oops! I added my link because I jumped into the InktoberTangles Challenge. My bad.

tangle me some zen, baby!!
