Weekly Challenge #340

Happy first Monday in November!

The boys had a super fun Halloween.

carving pumpkins - getting messy
Neither boy was too keen to get their hands dirty while cleaning out their pumpkins, which i thought was crazy.  That was always my favourite part.

Artoo's scary pumpkin

Chewie shining the bat symbol
The weather for Trick or treating was really gorgeous (for Saskatchewan) it was chilly but it wasn't windy - and we still had no snow!  So the boys were able to bundle up and stay warm under their costumes.

This year was the fist year that Chewie went out on Halloween with a bunch of friends (A mom chaperone went too) and he had so much fun and got so much candy that his pillow case broke.

My little ninja about to sit on his friend, the whoopie cusion while the Scream guy dabs, and the robot dude computes things.
Artoo was very excited to be Batman again this year, especially since Grandma found him this awesome Batman Costume!

He and i went trick or treating down our block and back, and then he was done for the night and happily gave out candy to trick or treaters who came to our house

na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na BATMAN!!!
And then, around 9:30 when the kids were in bed, it started to snow.  And just like that: It was winter.  Like a switch!  It snowed over a foot the next few days, and Chewie and Luna have been having a great time running around and playing in the snow.

On Sunday i took this kiddo to bowling because Chewie was bowling in a tournament in a nearby small town (they won bronze!) and after bowling i took Artoo to get his flu shot.  And he was very sad about that.  and that made me very sad.  SO we spent most of yesterday cuddling and watching Adventure Time together.

Weekly Challenge #340: UMT Wibble by Shawna Martin

The first Monday of each month is a Use My Tangle challenge where the tangle we use is brought to us by ONE of YOU!! You don't have to be a CZT to submit, but they do have to follow the guidelines etc found here...

This month's Use My Tangle is called Wibble, by Shawna Martin.  You can see the step outs here

Shawna did not submit this tangle, but i did come across it while doing Inktober Tangles and i loved it and wanted to play with it some more.

You can see all 31 of my Inktober Tangle bijou tiles here!!

Anyway, i thought i would give it another go - this time on a tan zendala tile.  Here's my tile.

I did not to a live stream this week because i've not been having much luck with Youtube live streaming.  The video just seems so choppy  BUT i did record me creating my challenge piece, which you can watch if you like!

Enjoy

have a great week everyone!
And if you're on the Zentangle Mosaic App or Instagram - i'm @iamthediva - come on by and follow me, and i'm going to be using hashtags on the app for each of my weekly challenges. So if you're game - use the hashtag #DC340(Diva Challenge #340) for your tile this week! You can also search in the app for people's contributions to the challenge by clicking on the hashtag from inside the app, or using the search function.
If you have a blog or host your images on line (like on Flickr or Picassa or Pinterest), add the site-specific URL where your tile is posted to the linkey machine below! Don't forget to link back here so that others can join in the fun! (if you don't know how to find this, you can see my half assed tutorial here) Also, please feel free to come back often and visit the links of those people on the linkey machine - don't forget to leave a comment or feedback, everyone loves feedback. ;)
If you love the challenge as much as i do, please consider leaving a tip (tip jar in the side bar).  I write this blog for free and have no plans to make it a paid for service in the future.  Buy me a cup of coffee, or a new Micron pen!! Click the tip jar on the side for a monthly tip, but if you just wanna throw a few bucks my way THIS LINK will give you a one time option.    A very big thank you to those who have kept me in hot cups of joe. ;)
