Weekly Challenge #345

Happy Monday everyone!

Artoo and i made it through our first nasty cold of the season with no trips to the ER (for Artoo...or me for that matter) so that's a huge victory in our books.

We're getting pretty excited for Christmas around here and the boys are pretty keen to let me know how many days are left until the fat man cometh.

Last week i started volunteering in Artoo's class, and i was delighted that my first day there the kids were learning the proper way to write a letter... which is so awesome cuz i love writing letters.

One of the boys' favourite spots to find our elf last week was in the fridge next to the mustard.  They both thought it was so funny - especially since Chewie opened the fridge to get milk for his cereal and didn't notice him.  It wasn't until Artoo opened the fridge to get something that Elfybulla was discovered.

I think i'm almost done my holiday shopping - but i always seem to forget someone.... my friend Tara and i went to the local art/pen shop to make our shopping lists for santa ;)

and the biggest thing that happened this week was Luna finally discovering the joys of the dog park

so many pupper friends!!
We've had some really great weather this week, so Luna and i have been heading to the park so she can burn off some winter energy.  I love watching her run, and you can really see the 'shepherd' in her when she tries to round up all the other dogs.

Weekly Challenge #345: Happy Holidays!
This week marks the last weekly challenge of 2017.  As is tradition, i take the last couple of weeks off to play with my kids and do family Christmas stuff.  Our calendar is already JAM PACKED with parties and gatherings and Christmas concerts, so it's one less thing on my plate.  BUT FEAR NOT!! for i shall return on the first monday of 2018, which is January 8th (B-rad's b-day for those of you who've been around since the beginning!)

AND speaking of the beginning.... this little blog and my little challenge turns 7 next week!  **SEVEN**

Seven years of challenges.  Can you even believe it??  it's insane.  We've come a long way folks!  Thanks for being here with me each week, whether you're new here, a casual tangler, or one of my die hards who've been here since the beginning (hi sue)

So this week's challenge is to create a holiday tile, or a zendala... and if you want to give it away to someone - that's awesome too.  (I think i'm giving mine to my mother in law)
I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and i'll catch ya'll back here in 2018!

I managed to record this week's tile, it's a long one ;)

Enjoy
have a great week everyone!
And if you're on the Zentangle Mosaic App or Instagram - i'm @iamthediva - come on by and follow me, and i'm going to be using hashtags on the app for each of my weekly challenges. So if you're game - use the hashtag #DC345(Diva Challenge #345) for your tile this week! You can also search in the app for people's contributions to the challenge by clicking on the hashtag from inside the app, or using the search function.
If you have a blog or host your images on line (like on Flickr or Picassa or Pinterest), add the site-specific URL where your tile is posted to the linkey machine below! Don't forget to link back here so that others can join in the fun! (if you don't know how to find this, you can see my half assed tutorial here) Also, please feel free to come back often and visit the links of those people on the linkey machine - don't forget to leave a comment or feedback, everyone loves feedback. ;)
If you love the challenge as much as i do, please consider leaving a tip (tip jar in the side bar). I write this blog for free and have no plans to make it a paid for service in the future. Buy me a cup of coffee, or a new Micron pen!! Click the tip jar on the side for a monthly tip, but if you just wanna throw a few bucks my way THIS LINK will give you a one time option. A very big thank you to those who have kept me in hot cups of joe. ;)
