Weekly Challenge #365

Good Monday Morning!

It's the last Monday of May - can you believe it?  And i have to say that i'm ready for this month to be over, because it seems that May has just been filled with my kids being sick to some degree.  Last week - Artoo just went from sniffly to worse and worse... and he was home from school all week - poor little dude.  At one point he was coughing so much that he just crawled into my lap and put his head down and didn't leave.  that's a big deal for my little dude. he's not much of a snuggler.

that's how you know that he was actually feeling really crummy.

so.  All week long was spent with a kid in my lap - and so not much was documented this week....  Doctors appointments and swimming lessons were all cancelled.  He seems to be feeling better now, though he is still coughing quite a bit.  :(

SO.  without further ado - here is this week's challenge and the last birthday month challenge!

Weekly Challenge #365: "Monotangle of PUF by Carole Ohl, CZT"
This tangle is one of my favourite tangles by CZT Carole Ohl, who attended the same seminar as me (CZT3 represent - woot woot!)

It's one of those tangles that i love because it's like - one where you really see the "magic"!  It starts out looking one way - with the first step being the tangle Bales, and then when you get to the last step.... Maaaaagiiiiic.

So, a Monotangle is a term (originating here on this blog!) for a tile or piece comprised of ONLY ONE tangle, and it's tangleations.

You can find the step outs for Puf on Carole's blog, here

Here's my tile!

have a great week everyone!
And if you're on the Zentangle Mosaic App or Instagram - i'm @iamthediva - come on by and follow me, and i'm going to be using hashtags on the app for each of my weekly challenges. So if you're game - use the hashtag #DC364 (Diva Challenge #364) for your tile this week! You can also search in the app for people's contributions to the challenge by clicking on the hashtag from inside the app, or using the search function.
If you have a blog or host your images on line (like on Flickr or Picassa or Pinterest), add the site-specific URL where your tile is posted to the linkey machine below! Don't forget to link back here so that others can join in the fun! (if you don't know how to find this, you can see my half assed tutorial here) Also, please feel free to come back often and visit the links of those people on the linkey machine - don't forget to leave a comment or feedback, everyone loves feedback. ;)
If you love the challenge as much as i do, please consider leaving a tip (tip jar in the side bar). I write this blog for free and have no plans to make it a paid for service in the future. Buy me a cup of coffee, or a new Micron pen!! Click the tip jar on the side for a monthly tip, but if you just wanna throw a few bucks my way THIS LINK will give you a one time option. A very big thank you to those who have kept me in hot cups of joe. ;)

  2. Sorry to hear Artoo is poorly, hope he gets better soon xx
This isn't a new tangle, surely, it's a tangelation. At the very least it was done in Project pack 1. It's very difficult nowadays, people are saying things are new and they just aren't. They look very much like original 'Tangles Any help here guys? I've been doing this for ages...

  8. Hope Artoo is doing better, and that everyone is well for a change. PUF is always a fun tangle to use; it starts out one way, and ends up completely different.
