Weekly Challenge #383

Good Morning friends!

I hope you've had a lovely week.

The weather has been insane here, one day the weather is freezing sub zero temps, the next day it's raining and the snow is melting only to have it plunge back into the deep freeze again.

It was a busy week with the boys again - with Karate and piano lessons, on top of that B-rad and i have started our weekly yoga class (WHICH I LOOOVE) and Chewie has had extra bowling practice because he qualified for the zone bowling tournament in the beginning of february....  in addition to that Artoo had his class presentation for Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day on Thursday morning and afterwards i went to visit a good friend who just started Chemo treatments for ovarian cancer, and i've also been watching my neighbour's daughter after school while she was out of town on business.

but today the boys have the day off school, so here's hoping for a little bit of a less jam packed week.

Happy Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day!!

Weekly Challenge #383: "New Official tangle: Ratoon"
So this week Zentangle HQ released their new official tangle called Ratoon.   I have been meaning to play with the tangle since they introduced it to the CZTs - but i hadn't had the chance to.  SO, thankfully i have this blog. lol.

Diva's first Ratoon - this photo makes this zendala look blue, but i actually used a dark purple watercolour for the background in honour of Artoo and Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day.

You can find the step outs for this tangle in the latest newsletter HERE - it's definitely one that requires a touch more thinking, and i will have to practice it MANY Times before it's one i can just do without too much thinking.  But that's part of the fun, isn't it?

OH HEY - if you're on instagram, i've been having fun the last couple of weeks posting people's challenge tiles in my stories, so be sure to use the hashtag below if you want me to post yours too!

have a great week everyone!
And if you're on the Zentangle Mosaic App or Instagram - i'm @iamthediva - come on by and follow me, and i'm going to be using hashtags on the app for each of my weekly challenges. So if you're game - use the hashtag #DC383 (Diva Challenge #383) for your tile this week! You can also search in the app for people's contributions to the challenge by clicking on the hashtag from inside the app, or using the search function.
If you have a blog or host your images on line (like on Flickr or Picassa or Pinterest), add the site-specific URL where your tile is posted to the linkey machine below! Don't forget to link back here so that others can join in the fun! (if you don't know how to find this, you can see my half assed tutorial here) Also, please feel free to come back often and visit the links of those people on the linkey machine - don't forget to leave a comment or feedback, everyone loves feedback. ;)
If you love the challenge as much as i do, please consider leaving a tip (tip jar in the side bar). I write this blog for free and have no plans to make it a paid for service in the future. Buy me a cup of coffee, or a new Micron pen!! Click the tip jar on the side for a monthly tip, but if you just wanna throw a few bucks my way THIS LINK will give you a one time option. A very big thank you to those who have kept me in hot cups of joe. ;)
